6th Annual
Ink-N-Iron-Festival
(Long Beach, California - Queen Mary)
By. C.A.
When it comes to gauging the international Extreme Art & Tattoo scene, southern California's Ink N Iron Tattoo festival is the place to be.
Artists from across the globe attend this huge event where they come into contact with true artistic forces to be recon with. It is there that big fish in small ponds meet sharks in the ocean and either leap back into their puddles with bruised ego's; or sharpen up their fins with a head full of creative new ideas, courtesy of the best ink slingers in the world.
As humbling for artists as the event is, it's also enjoyable and provides spectators with a large variety of different art forms and styles. The show is held every year on board of the 76,000 ton Queen Mary ship in Long Beach, California. The event offers visitors an eye full, with everything from live tattooing exhibitions, art, music and even a car show.
The finest tattoo artists on earth and a sequence of additional tattoo shows made this 2009 festival a hit.
There was an estimated 280 creative artists from over 30 states and 25 countries presenting spectators with their finest in art.
