SUPER SHOW AT LAS VEGAS

OCTOBER 11, 2009 - Voyaging  to Las Vegas, Nevada, for the annual Lowrider Super Show has always presented  new encounters  for  thousands of visitors, some traveling from states all over the U.S. and even Mexico.

Lowrider Girl and the Castillo family of Chaparral, New Mexico are some of dozens of lowrider aficionados that trek over state lines to come upon what are considered some of the most dramatic bombs, motorcycles  and classic lowriders in the entire western hemisphere. This year's Vegas show offered an eye full of exotic and classic cars, some belonging to Oldies, Imperials, Elite, Rollerz Only,  Uce, Southside, Viejitos , Majestic's, Street Players, New Style, Los Angeles, Aztlan, Santana, Dukes, Cali Life, Best of Friends, Classic Memories, Good Times, Techniques, Traffic,  New Style,  Groupe and several other car and bike clubs.

We were fortunate enough  to receive the support of Lowrider Girl, Latin Pride C.C. and the Castillo family who assisted the site in capturing these vivid impressions  of this first class show.  This  journey all began in El Paso, Texas when Lowrider Girl, David Gonzalez of Latin Pride C.C. and the Castillo family jumped into their 2 "trailer less" 1963 Impala lowriders and drove 780 miles to Las Vegas, Nevada.  Just like most matrimonies of the early 1960's, both classic Impalas proved to be loyal as they passed dozens of modern disposable cars broken down on the side of the hot desert highway.

 After checking out the Super Show and receiving a warm welcome from  Salvador Mendez of San Diego's Oldies C.C. chapter,  the group then ventured off into the Las Vegas strip where they came across El Paso car clubs who were also there for the action.

Amigos C.C. of Juarez, Mexico attended, as well as Rollerz Only and Slow & Low of El Paso, Texas.

What more can one say about a movement that continues to cultivate and extend beyond the horizon. We hope that this addition has fulfilled the eyes of our visitors and look forward in providing much more rolling works of art at their finest.
