Disaster Zone

Article by. D.A

Soon after we rolled into the BBQ Grind in Huntington Beach California we observed this unique looking band set up shop and prepare their gig. They appeared pumped up and ready for violence. Violence is what the crowd got once this energetic band hit the strings of their amped up guitars. Hard core drum thumping and angry lyrics riled up the crowd who were having the time of their lives over cups of beer. Our salutes go out to Disaster Zone, a great California experience.

About Disaster Zone

On January 1st 2008, Jinx and Bobby met in a cylinder warehouse and sat down to try to write some music that they could call their own. Within minutes 2 songs were born, Hangovers and This World. The two let their influences take over and create music that they would want to here themselves and their influences would be proud to say they helped create. Soon Jinx and Bobby found themselves in need of a bassist and a drummer. After trying out a few friends, Bobby asked his brother in arms, Folsom Fear, to lay down the attack on the bass. After trying out some drummers, the three picked up the youngest member, Quinn, off Main St, Huntington Beach to come fill in on drums, later asking him to join the band. The four are on a journey to do what they love most, create music that people can relate to. Rock and Roll.
